Business leaders and economists gave their insight into Tulsa’s economic forecast at the annual State of the Economy.
Formerly known as the Economic Outlook Conference, State of the Economy informs Tulsa-area business leaders of regional, national and global economic trends that could impact business performance in the year ahead.
The event featured keynote speaker Jim Huntzinger, executive vice president and chief investment officer of BOK Financial. Huntzinger addressed many issues expected to come in the year ahead, from expected tax cuts that would stimulate the economy to murmurs of recession — for which he said he has seen no evidence.
His overview included the effects of demographic trends, the labor market and the cost of expanding that business leaders can look for in 2018.
