Chamber Internships

The Tulsa Regional Chamber offers a variety of unpaid internship opportunities for school credit. The Chamber accepts interns for the fall, spring and summer semesters.

Communications

The Communications Department will house two interns simultaneously throughout the course of the year. The Events/Account Service intern will split his/her time between the Director of Events and Director of Communications to assist on the planning and execution of Chamber-related events and collateral. The Creative Services intern will assist the Director of Creative Services with various design projects and clerical functions.

Internships are available January-May, May-August or August-December.

  • Events/Account Service Intern
    Junior or Senior in college pursing a degree in a relevant field
    Minimum of three working days a week
    Knowledge of AP Style
  • Creative Services Intern
    0-2 years of college level experience in graphic design
    Working knowledge of design and/or photo editing software in the Adobe Creative Suite

 



Economic Development

The Chamber's economic development department is responsible for recruiting and retaining businesses to drive job creation, promoting entrepreneurship, providing economic data and generating capital investment in the region. 



Government Affairs

The government affairs division advocates for pro-business legislation to help regional companies grow and prosper. Government affairs works with regional partners and members to draft the OneVoice Legislative Agenda, holds legislative events and lobbies at the state and federal level. 



TYPROS

TYPROS is responsible for attracting and retaining young talent in the Tulsa region, and establishing Tulsa's next generation of business and community leaders.



Tulsa Regional Tourism

Visit Tulsa

Visit Tulsa is responsible for marketing Tulsa to visitors and meeting planners and bringing high-quality events and conventions to the Tulsa Region.

Tulsa Sports Commission

The Tulsa Sports Commission is responsible for marketing Tulsa to sports organizations to attract high-quality events to the Tulsa region such as NCAA March Madness, BMX Grand Nationals, USA Gymnastics and more.


Tulsa FMAC

The Tulsa Office of Film, Music, Arts & Culture (Tulsa FMAC) is an accredited film commission housed at the Chamber. Potential internship opportunities include:
