Bassmaster officials alongside hosts from the Tulsa Sports Commission announced the return of the Academy Sports + Outdoors Bassmaster Classic to Grand Lake and the Tulsa region in 2024. Two previous Classics held at Grand Lake in 2013 and 2016 drew more than 105,000 enthusiastic fans to the Tulsa region for the event. This 54th renewal of the "Super Bowl of Bass Fishing" will be held on March 22-24, 2024. 

“The Tulsa Sports Commission, and Tulsa Regional Tourism as a whole, are beyond excited to welcome the Bassmaster Classic back to Tulsa,” said Renee McKenney, senior vice president of tourism for the Tulsa Regional Chamber and president of Tulsa Regional Tourism. “Tulsa has experienced profound growth since 2016 — welcoming new attractions like the Gathering Place, Discovery Lab, Mother Road Market, Greenwood Rising Black Wall St. History Center and the Bob Dylan Center to name just a few.
