For the second time in seven months, the Tulsa Regional Chamber on Friday assembled representatives from the local manufacturing, aerospace and technology sectors for its Tri-Industry Council meeting.

It was held in the Rendezvous Room of the Vast Bank building.

“The value of the Chamber convening all of us is the cross-pollination, said Mike Noshay, operating partner at Gitwit and executive committee member of the Technology Council.

“I spend all my time preaching to our team the value of collision, showing up to these sorts of events, physically bumping into somebody and saying, `What the hell do you do? Tell me about your life. What’s going on in your world.’ That’s where the real magic happens.”

Providing a forum where businesses can network and explore sector trends, the Chamber has hosted industry council meetings since 2014, when the Manufacturers’ Council was established. The Aerospace Council followed in 2020 and the Tech Council in 2023.

The first Tri-Industry Council gathering was held last year.

“Aerospace wouldn’t be here without people who can make stuff and people who think about how to make it and make it better,” said Aerospace Council Chair Bailey Siegfried, a vice president with NORDAM Group.  “The role of being a catalyst and a collaborator doesn’t come easy. We all have lives. We all have businesses. Thanks to the Chamber for pulling us together.

“Each of our industries plays a vital role in supporting economic growth, shaping the future of how we live, work and connect,” said Manufacturers’ Council Chair Joey Lada, plant manager at Greenheck Group.

“…No one sector holds all the answers. But together, we’re smarter, faster, more resilient. Whether it’s a supply chain disruption, workforce development issue or the rapid pace of digital transformation…we work together to solve these problems.”
