The Tulsa Regional Chamber on Tuesday celebrated one of its own, 2025 Chamber Chair Bill Knight, on a new business venture.

Bill Knight Ford cut the ribbon on a $15 million Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service Center, a 30-bay, purpose-built facility dedicated to keeping Tulsa’s businesses, contractors, municipalities and first responders operating at full strength.

“We understand that uptime, getting vehicles back on the road, is really the most important thing to our fleet customers,” said Knight, owner of Knight Automotive Group.

In addition to expanding service capacity for commercial customers across the region, the facility will create more than 30 new jobs in Tulsa, including commercial technicians, service advisors, and support staff.

The new Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service Center features:

  • 30 large-capacity service bays capable of servicing Class 1–7 commercial vehicles
  • Advanced diagnostic equipment and EV certification
  • Elite-trained commercial technicians
  • Extended service hours, six days per week
  • Dedicated mobile service units that bring service directly to job sites

Mike Neal, president and CEO of the Tulsa Regional Chamber, said he recognized Knight as a smart businessman the moment he met him 20 years ago.

“It’s been fun to watch Bill grow this business,” Neal said. “It’s been fun to watch Bill and his team acquire dealerships in different parts of this region and see how he has made them successful.”

Neal also touted Knight’s leadership as 2025 Chamber chair and his ability to leverage public-private partnerships for the good of the region.

“There is no one who has done it in a more calm, level-headed, cool fashion,” Neal said. “…There’s probably been no one who has tackled more challenges.”

The new facility, located at 9731 E. 92nd St., services both Ford and non-Ford commercial vehicles, allowing local fleets to consolidatemaintenance needs under one provider. It will support police and public safety fleets, fire and emergency response vehicles, municipal and utility service trucks, school transportation vehicles and healthcare and service provider fleets.

“What this means is when we have maintenance challenges we can’t handle at the city, we have an easy place to go that’s going to be open for usand available to us,” Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols said.

Like Neal, the mayor praised Knight’s civic-mindedness.

“Every time I turn around, when we’re talking about things that are consequential to this community, somehow, someway Bill Knight is around,” Nichols said. “…So, I’m proud to be a Ford customer because it means an association with people like Bill Knight.”
