A pair of entrepreneurs shared their companies’ stories Thursday at a meeting of the Tulsa Regional Chamber’s Technology Council.

Xalter CEO Kevin Anderson and R. Matt Villareal, CEO of Infinite Composites, spoke to an audience of about 30 people at the WeStreet Ice Center.

Xalter is an extended reality training platform that transforms workforce readiness with immersive, scenario-based learning.

The Tulsa-based company also has Texas branches in Austin, San Antonio and Houston.

Anderson donned a headset and described the platform to Angie Zaricor, a senior director of economic development for the Chamber.

Among his clients are energy companies Williams and Devon Energy.

“I love Tulsa,” Anderson said. “I think it’s the ‘Goldilocks’ zone. It’s not too big, and it’s not too small when it comes to entrepreneurship and investment. So, it’s been great for us.”

Infinite Composites was founded in 2010 to revolutionize composite vessel technology, with the goal of enabling widespread adoption of pressure vessels for space exploration and sustainable transportation.

He, Villareal and his best friend, Michael Tate, the firm’s chief operating officer, started the company in a garage while they were still in college.

“We recently reached two years in orbit with our products,” Villareal said. “We have two satellites that are using our tanks.”

The company has done business with NASA, as well as all branches of the U.S. military.

“We should have our best year in company history. We’re rocking and rolling,” Villareal said. “We’re expanding and accelerating our growth and happy to be in Tulsa.”
