OneVoice Task Forces

Play a part in shaping regional legislation through creating the OneVoice Regional Legislative Agenda. The OneVoice Agenda is developed through the collaboration of more than 500 regional partners representing more than 70 chambers of commerce, municipalities, counties and economic development organizations. Through these partnerships, the OneVoice Regional Legislative Agenda has come to reflect a unified commitment to improve and develop economic stability for northeast Oklahoma through active participation in our state and federal political processes. A key part of the OneVoice process is its task forces, where experts in each field come together to identify problems and craft solutions for the region and state. Task forces meet to develop the OneVoice agenda during the summer each year (typically July through August) and as needed throughout the legislative session. Task force choices are:

    • Business & Environmental Resources
    • Development, Economy & Taxes
    • Education
    • Energy
    • Workforce & HR
    • Small Business & Entrepreneurship
    • Regional Tourism
    • Transportation & Infrastructure
    • Health Care

*Topics do change from year to year to reflect issues

The Tulsa Regional Chamber is working with its members and OneVoice partners to outline priorities and issues for the 2018 OneVoice Legislative Agenda.

Task forces are forming now, and will meet from June through August to create a list of each focus’s top priorities. The top priority in each focus area will be placed on the 2018 OneVoice Agenda, and task forces’ other priorities will be presented for consideration at the Regional Legislative Summit on Thursday, Sept. 7, 7:30 a.m. – 12 p.m., at the Hard Rock Hotel, 777 W. Cherokee St., in Catoosa. Collectively, the Chamber and its regional partners work together at the Summit to create a comprehensive agenda built upon the top priorities identified by Summit attendees. Once compiled, each partner is asked to formally endorse the OneVoice Legislative Agenda and add their organization’s support to the region’s most important issues.

To ensure the region’s top priorities are represented, please ask a representative from your organization to join us on one of the following task forces by contacting the associated staff representative. All task force meetings will be held in the Tulsa Regional Chamber’s offices, located at 1 West 3rd Street, Tulsa, OK 74103.
